Obituary

Aaron Orlando Sparks Mason, 51, passed away August 5, 2020. He was born June 7, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois to Ella Mae and Willie James Sparks.

He was raised by his parents Ella and Michael Mason in Corpus Christi, Texas. Aaron accepted Christ at an early age. Baptized and confirmed at St Martin Episcopal Church. As a young man, he was an artist who liked to draw and used his skills to build model cars.

He attended W.B. Ray High School and graduated from Del Mar College with Automotive Mechanic Degree. He was ASCE Certified and a self-employed automotive shop owner until he was unable to do so. Aaron was employed by Texas Department of Transportation from college until he opened his own shop. Aaron was a loving son who enjoyed auto racing and participated in the weekend races at CC Speedway.

He will always be remembered for the devotion he gave to his niece and nephews, the enjoyment of barbequing/cooking, love of making everyone happy, his enjoyment for living life  to the fullest, being a jokester and clown, and his willingness to help others in need of vehicle repairs.

Aaron is preceded in death by his biological paternal grandparents Adalia and Walter Sparks,

his maternal grandparents Ella Ree and Johna Rives, his grandparents Dera and Elisha Mason,

and his daughter Aralia Mason.

Aaron is survived by his parents Ella Mae and Michael Mason (Corpus Christi), his sister Ella Lisette Mason (Corpus Christi), his brother Michael Trey Mason Corpus Christi, his beloved nephews LaMarcus Mason, Sergio Ramos, Matthew Ramos, and Rowan Mason, his cherished niece Evelyn Mason. A host of aunts and uncles, cousins, good friends, and fellow coworkers.
